The year 2024 was a time of strong renewal and growth for Medanta: the financial year's result turned profitable and turnover rose to over two million euros.

The year 2024 was particularly significant for Medanta, as the result for the financial year was turned around from a loss in the previous year to a profit of almost half a million euros. The group's turnover rose to 8.6 million euros (6.4 million euros in 2023) and the EBITDA to almost 17 percent.

"Last year was a time of renewal, focus and breakthrough for us. We still haven't broken the magical 10 million euro turnover mark, but the direction is clear," says CEO Anu Kivelä .

New management models as a driver of growth

One of the factors that significantly contributed to the growth in profit was the implementation of new management models.

"In collaboration with Kasvu Partners, we built clear tools and metrics that bring sales and production into the same view. The result came from disciplined work, deepening customer relationships, and improving internal efficiency," says Anu Kivelä.

Medanta's customer care model was implemented throughout the organisation, from sales to production and laundries.

"The strategy was crystallised so that all processes aim to create customer value in a sustainable and effective way. We limited the number of customers and focused on clearly validated, potential target groups, which enabled us to deepen customer work and increase sales effectiveness."

The completion of the ERP system was one of the significant milestones of last year.

"It freed up both capacity and peace of mind. Preparing for growth had done its job and we were able to focus fully on what we do best: serving customers and our core business."

Growth in quantity and importance

The cost pressures and market uncertainty of recent years have necessitated a response, but it was precisely these challenges that drove Medanta to develop its operations.

"Although the economic challenges have made it difficult for many companies to grow, we wanted to see the situation as an opportunity. We developed our expertise, leadership and the quality of our work at every level. We have grown – not only in quantity, but also in meaning," says Anu Kivelä.

The goal of the organisational change is to strengthen capabilities, especially in the commercial and operational areas.

“This is made possible above all by people. I am immensely grateful to our super team, whose expertise and commitment are visible in the everyday lives of our customers.”

New sustainability program in autumn 2025

Medanta's goal is to exceed 10 million in revenue in the next few years. Growth is sought in moderation and while strengthening its own values.

"The most important thing is that growth is built on trust and sustainable customer value. We want to grow profitably and responsibly. In the fall, we will publish a special issue of Medanta Magazine, the content of which will focus specifically on the cornerstones of our responsibility."
