Lumiére is a unique evening gown created to honor healthcare professionals at the 2023 Independence Day Reception. It’s a festive dress with a powerful message: to highlight the vital role of nursing professionals in sustaining the Finnish welfare society.

Design
Lumiére is a thank you for everyday hope
The dress's abstract print, Lumiére, reflects the light and hope that healthcare workers bring to all of us. In gratitude for this hope, the Lumiére evening dress brought an important reminder to the big celebration; an equal working life and the well-being of healthcare workers is something worth celebrating, something that can be made a reality in everyday life and through choices.
Material
Medanta Micro-4-Way
The Lumiére evening gown is made from Medanta's innovative microfiber fabric, which is used daily in workwear by numerous healthcare professionals all over Finland. The antimicrobial Medanta Micro-4-Way was originally developed for surgeons and nurses for the demanding conditions of operating rooms. The material developed by Medanta contains recycled polyester and elastane. It is pleasant on the skin, breathable and has a silky feel, making it suitable for use from the operating room to the Independence Day Reception.
