TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF INVOICING CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR CORPORATE CUSTOMERS
-> the terms and conditions of consumer customers are separate
- General
Welcome to the MEDANTA online store! These MEDANTA online store (“Online Store”) terms and conditions (hereinafter “Terms”) apply to the sale of products purchased via the website www.medanta.fi between Medanta Oy (“Medanta”) and a corporate customer (hereinafter “Customer”). The terms and conditions do not apply to orders placed through the medantapro.fi ordering system.
The terms and conditions displayed on the online store platform apply to consumer customers, but the terms and conditions for invoicing customers that are accepted when ordering are the separate TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR INVOICING CUSTOMERS FOR COMPANIES, which are delivered to the company's contact person when opening an invoicing customer account. The customer therefore accepts these terms and conditions when placing orders in the online store.

- Online shopping
To shop online as an invoicing customer, you must open an invoicing account. To do this, the customer must provide Medanta with the following information:
Ordering company information
company name
company's business ID
e-invoice ID and operator
Ordering contact information
contact person's name
contact person's email address
contact person's phone number
product delivery address
The ordering company is responsible for the accuracy of the information it provides and is obliged to notify Medanta of any changes to the information without delay. Changes to the information can be reported by updating the information either directly in the billing customer information in the online service or by email.
- Ordering products
The product is ordered by selecting the product and quantity from the Online Store selection. The products selected by the Subscriber are added to the Subscriber's shopping cart, where the order quantities of the products can still be changed and from where products can be removed before confirming the order. It is possible that the availability of the product shown in the shopping cart changes before the order transaction is completed. Medanta reserves the right to limit the purchase quantity of promotional products per customer.
A binding order for the Subscriber is created when the Subscriber submits their order in the Online Store (however, see the section “Checking products, complaints and liability for errors”). The Subscriber is advised to check the content of their order carefully before confirming the order, accepting the terms and conditions and making payment. The Subscriber understands and accepts that the order is subject to a payment obligation.
Medanta will send the Subscriber an order confirmation to the email address provided by the Subscriber. Orders can also be viewed on the online shopping platform. It is the Subscriber's responsibility to check that the order confirmation corresponds to the content of the Subscriber's order.
Medanta has the right to refuse an order. Medanta may refuse an order, for example, because the product or a replacement product is no longer available.
- Prices
The prices of the products are valid until further notice or for a separately stated period. The products are charged based on the price valid at the time of order, as stated in the order confirmation. If an incorrect price has been entered in the Online Store, the price is not binding on Medanta if the Customer knew or should have known that the price was incorrect.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any discount codes that entitle them to discounts are applied to the order appropriately.
The prices of online store products include value added tax. The prices of the products do not include delivery and handling costs, but they are stated separately both immediately upon ordering and in the order confirmation sent to the Customer.
Delivery costs depend on the Customer's choice of delivery method and can be selected when selecting the delivery method before payment. If the entire order cannot be delivered at once due to the availability of some products, Medanta will deliver the products in several installments and will not charge a delivery fee for subsequent deliveries.
- Invoicing
The invoice will be delivered to the Subscriber in the manner agreed in advance. The Subscriber is responsible for the accuracy of the billing information, see the section on delivery and correction of billing information. The information is displayed in the Subscriber's customer account and in the order confirmation delivered to the Subscriber.
- Product availability
Medanta strives to ensure that the information on the products available in the Online Store is up-to-date and accurate, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information, nor the availability or sufficiency of the products sold. Certain products are manufactured in limited quantities or may otherwise be temporarily out of stock.
If, after receiving the order, it becomes apparent that the ordered product is temporarily or permanently out of stock, Medanta will notify the Subscriber of this without delay using the contact information provided by the Subscriber.
- Product delivery
Medanta delivers products to delivery addresses in mainland Finland. The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the delivery information.
The delivery time of the products depends on the availability of the product. The normal delivery time of the order is usually 2-7 business days. Medanta aims to deliver the ordered products as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after the conclusion of the contract.
- Delivery delay
If the delivery of the products is delayed from the estimated time, Medanta will endeavour to notify the Customer of the delay using the contact information provided by the Customer and to provide the Customer with a new estimate of the product delivery time.
Medanta is not responsible for any delay in delivery if delivery is delayed or the order cannot be delivered at all due to a reason attributable to the Subscriber (e.g. the Subscriber has provided incorrect contact information or the Subscriber has not notified the Customer of any change in their contact information).
- Product inspection, complaints and liability for defects
Once the Customer has received the delivery, the Customer must immediately check that the delivered products are intact and otherwise free from defects. The Customer must also ensure that the delivery contains all ordered products.
If the Customer discovers that the delivery or product is incorrect, the Customer must immediately and no later than within 7 days notify Medanta's customer service in writing (info@medanta.fi). Medanta will provide the Customer with instructions for returning the incorrect delivery or product.
Medanta makes every reasonable effort to accurately represent the characteristics of the products in the online store, including material information and the colors used. The color tone seen by the Subscriber depends on the terminal device used by the Subscriber, and Medanta cannot guarantee that the Subscriber's terminal device will display the colors in question identically to the authentic product. A product is not considered to have a defect if there is a slight difference in tone compared to how the color is displayed on the Subscriber's terminal device.
If a defect is confirmed in the delivery or product, Medanta has the primary right to correct the defect within a reasonable time or deliver a replacement product without defects.
Medanta's liability does not cover damage to the product after delivery, normal wear and tear of the product, or damage caused by use of the product contrary to the instructions for use and care, maintenance, or repairs not carried out by Medanta. For the avoidance of doubt, no separate warranty is provided for the products.
- Returning a non-defective product
Once the Customer has received a defect-free product, he must keep it unchanged and unused until he decides to keep the goods.
If the Customer wishes to exchange a product that has been ordered and delivered without defects, this will be treated as a new order.
It is not possible to return a flawless product if the product has been modified at the Customer's request or cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Such products include underwear sold in the online store and, for example, products with names and custom orders made at the Customer's request.
The Customer must notify Medanta's customer service (info@medanta.fi) in writing of the return of the defect-free product without delay and no later than within 14 days. The notification must include the Customer's contact information and order number.
The returned product must be delivered to Medanta no later than 14 days after receipt of the product. The returned delivery must include the Customer's contact information and order number. The Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs and the delivery's arrival at Medanta.
Medanta will inspect the returned product and deliver a credit note to the Customer for the returned product without defects using the operating model that the Customer has notified Medanta when opening the billing account. The credit note will be delivered no later than 14 days after inspecting the returned product. Medanta will charge an office fee of 20 euros for the credit note.
- Indemnity, limitation of liability and force majeure
Medanta is not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or loss of income caused by the product and/or service. Medanta's liability for compensation is always limited to the content of these terms and conditions. Our liability for errors is limited to a possible refund of the purchase price.
Medanta is not liable for any product defect, delay in delivery or other breach of contract caused by a circumstance beyond Medanta's control (force majeure). Even in such a situation, Medanta will strive to serve the Customer in the best possible way.
- Online store cookies
The online store uses cookies, the use of which is described in more detail in the Medanta Online Service Terms of Use .
- Changing the terms and conditions
Medanta reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at its discretion by notifying the Subscriber. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions shall enter into force upon notification. Use of the Online Store after the time of notification shall be deemed to be confirmation that the Subscriber accepts the amendments to the Terms and Conditions.
- Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by Finnish law. For the sake of clarity, the Consumer Protection Act or other regulations applicable only to consumer customers do not apply to business customers (business operators).
